Memory Box Workshop

About the Course

Step into a world of imagination, storytelling, and creativity in this unique Memory Box Workshop, where sculpture and personal memories come together to create a truly meaningful artwork.

During the workshop, you will discover the exciting possibilities of working with Creative Paperclay, a versatile air-drying material perfect for creating expressive miniature sculptures and decorative forms. You will begin by transforming a small box using decoupage techniques, decorative papers, texture, and paint, turning it into a beautiful artistic setting for your story.

The main creative adventure will be sculpting a miniature character or scene inside the box, inspired by your own memories, meaningful objects, photographs, or small keepsakes that you are welcome to bring with you. You may also incorporate found objects or personal elements into your piece, enriching its narrative and emotional connection.

Guided step-by-step by award-winning artist, you will explore a range of sculpting, texturing, and finishing techniques in a relaxed and inspiring environment. Working from your own ideas, sketches, or reference images, you will develop a unique miniature sculpture full of personality and atmosphere. Examples of the artist’s work will be available for inspiration, helping you understand how form, texture, and detail can bring a tiny world to life.

As your sculpture develops, you will refine it using sculpting tools and experiment with different textures and surface effects to add depth and character. Finally, your memory box will be completed using the artist’s distinctive painting and finishing techniques, revealing the textures and giving the piece its final expressive appearance.

✨ By the end of the workshop, you will leave with:

• Your own original handcrafted Memory Box

• A unique sculptural keepsake filled with personal meaning
