Paperclay Relief Sculpting Course

About the Course
This course is ideal for both beginners and improvers who would like to explore the art of relief sculpting in a friendly and creative environment.
This is a unique opportunity to explore the art of relief sculpting in a friendly, supportive, and uplifting environment. Whether you're looking for a mindful escape, a creative spark, or a memorable way to spend time with friends, this experience is perfect for anyone seeking a fresh challenge. You'll work with a professional air-drying clay, Creative Paperclay, discovering how to build up layers to create a striking relief form. Guided every step of the way by a professional, award-winning artist, you'll get to know a range of techniques including shaping, texturing, and refining your work. The process is designed to be both relaxing and rewarding, allowing you to switch off and fully immerse yourself in making. Using your own images or sketches as inspiration, you'll create a truly personal piece of art. Your subject can be anything that makes you smile – flowers, animals, fantasy figures, or even portraits. This technique allows you to produce a distinctive artwork in your own unique style. Examples created by the artist will also be available to spark ideas and help you get started. Throughout the five sessions of the workshop, you'll sculpt your design in clay, refine it using shaping tools, and experiment with a variety of texturing techniques to enhance detail and depth. No previous experience is needed – just show up with a bit of curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
